I enjoyed my time in Sri Ara and there were so many memories that were made there but let me make this short and simple:
I gained leadership equalities through the SRC (Student Representatives’ Council)
A spirit of camaraderie with my mates that lasts more than 5 years since we have left the school and gone our separate ways
Being involved with the SRC gave me ample opportunities to plan events for the school and interact with the other students
Maintained a balance between the extra-curricular activities and my studies
A conducive environment and teachers who gave extra classes for us to achieve excellent results
Teachers were always available for us to talk to and seek advice
We were friendly to even aliens; secondary students would sit and have lunch with primary students, and older students would be seen playing football with the really young students

Dear Parents & Students
Japanese Tsunami Disaster Fundraising
The Fundraising held on 9 April 2011 was a tremendous success. We are pleased to inform that in all RM 7,100 was raised. The funds were handed over to the Malaysian Red Crescent Representative who will hand it directly over to the International Red Cross today. On behalf of the students, we would like to thank everyone for the generous contributions and tremendous effort put in that made the event a success.

Following the event for the victims of the Japanese Earthquake & Tsunami last weekend, we’re delighted to announce on behalf of the Student Representative Council that we managed to raise more than RM7000 on the day.
We also collected several hundred items of warm clothing that we are trying to send directly to the disaster victims.
The harrowing images that are still coming out of Japan make it obvious that clothing for people who lost everything is still a priority, so collecting and sorting the clothes represents another superb effort by everyone concerned.
All in all, a brilliant result from an event arranged at such short notice.
Well done to all students, teachers and parents who played such a massive and vital role in making the day so successful.
We should also say a huge ‘Thank you’ to all of our generous sponsors …
