Dear Parents,

We would like to wish all Hindu parents and students, ‘Happy Diwali’ and have a wonderful celebration. Have an enjoyable week with family and friends! As per our calendar, the school will be closed for Deepavali from Wednesday, 22nd to Friday, 24th October and we would also like to remind everyone that Monday, 20th October is a replacement holiday.

The primary school section is organising a two-day camp in school for the primary students in November. It will be an exciting experience for the children to take part in the interesting activities at the camp. Please contact the administration office for further information.

The IGCSE examinations have begun, whereas the SPM examinations will begin on 3rd November. We believe that you will all do well and would therefore also like to wish all our Year 11 and Form 5 candidates with, ‘The Very Best of Luck!

It is deeply regretful that our swimming programmes have recently been terribly disrupted over the last couple of months. We do apologise for the set-back and inconvenience caused to all our students and parents. The problems had emanated from the prolonged delays in the MBJB’s pool repair schedule. Nevertheless, we do assure you that we are endeavouring to re-arrange the status and will update you accordingly.

In the interim, however, we are pleased to inform that there will be swimming assessments as follows:

Secondary section Wednesday, 12 November
Primary section Thursday, 13 November

We would like to remind all parents and students of the international section that text books will have to be returned to the administration office on or before Friday, 14th November.
Thank you.

Fatimah Osman
