Newsletter on 19 August


We will be having a National Day celebration cum Hari Raya get-together on Friday, 29 August. Performances will begin at 11am.

Students are encouraged to wear their national costumes and bring pot luck for the Hari Raya get together.

As National Day, 31 August falls on a Sunday, the next day, Monday 1 September will be a school holiday.


The UPSR examination will start on Tuesday, 9 September and end on Thursday, 11 September. To the primary 6 students, Nur Anissa, Anushka and Priya we would like to wish you, “All the best and good luck’ to all.


The schedule for the examinations will be as follows:

UPSR Primary 6 9 – 11 September
PT3 Form 3 12 – 15 October
SPM Form 5 Trial Exam :  22 September – 8 October
SPM :  5 November – 3 December
IGCSE Year 11 Trial Exam :  22 September – 8 October
IGCSE :  23 October – 16 November
As Level Year 12 Trial Exam :  22 – 29 September
As Level  :  22 October – 10 November
Malaysian Private School Examination Dates
Primary Primary 1 – 3 7 – 10 October
Primary 4 & 5 7 – 10 October

Food & Funfair Coupons

We encourage everyone to sell as many coupons as possible and invite all your friends and family. Do encourage your friends and family to join in the fun whilst contributing to a good cause.

The event is just around the corner, coupons that has already been sold please submit payment to the administration office before Friday, 29 August and you are welcome to get more coupons to sell. A reminder to those who have items to give away for the jumble sale, kindly bring in the items to the office as soon as possible.

We are hoping for a bright sunny day on Saturday, 6 September to kick off our charity event, the Sri Ara Food and Funfair. There will be loads of fun and food. So see you all there!


SRC Trip

A reminder to students who are going for the SRC trip on Friday, 12 September, please assemble in school at 8am.


Mid Term Break [13 – 21 September]

The mid-term break will be from 13 to 21 September. The school will reopen on Monday, 22 September. We would like to inform you the operating hours for the administration office will be as follows:

School Hours : 8.30am to 4.30pm
School Holidays : 9.30am to 3.30pm
[Closed for Lunch 1 – 2pm]
Public Holidays : CLOSED


Dengue Alert

There has been an alarming increase in dengue cases reported by the Health Ministry. There has been marked increase in Johor Bahru namely, Pelangi and Larkin areas. We would like to caution parents to watch out for signs and symptoms of the Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever for example abdominal pain, hemorrhage, nausea and vomiting, bleeding of the nose and gums, sore throat and cough and high fever (40 – 41 C).
