Dear Parents and Students

‘CHINGAY’ Procession

We have been informed by the police (PDRM) that on Wednesday, 11 March, many roads will be closed for the ‘Chingay’ procession. To avoid congestion caused by these closures, school will dismiss early at 1pm on Wednesday, 11 March. Kindly ensure your relevant transport provider is informed.

Term Break 14 – 24 March 2015

We would like to remind parents that school will close from Saturday, 14 March onwards for the school break and will resume on Wednesday, 25 March. Homework has been given to the students and it is hoped that students will use this time wisely to look into their studies.

During the school holidays, the administration office will be open for business from Monday, 16 March to Wednesday, 18 March, 9am until 4pm. It will be closed for lunch from 1pm to 2pm. Thereafter the administration office will be closed as all staff will be on a training course.

UNSW Examinations

We have been offering the University of New South Wales International Competitions & Assessments for Schools (ICAS) for students from Year 2/Primary 2 to Year 11/Form 5 for several years, and this year is no exception. The UNSW exams provide a continuous, independent and comprehensive record of student performance and skills in key areas of learning.

We encourage parents to register their children for these assessments which is offered in 20 countries, with results mapped against all students sitting at the same year level. It is still not too late to enroll. You have by the end of the week to complete the forms and submit them to the administration office.

Parents Teachers’ Meet

For any parents who would like to discuss their children’s progress in school, please call the office for an appointment. This is especially for parents who are new to the school. A meeting with teachers or principal will be arranged soon after the term break.

Motivation Camp

This year’s motivation camp is tentatively scheduled from 26 to 28 March. The programme will be finalized by this week and details will be communicated to the students soon.

Good Friday

Please note that Good Friday which falls on Friday, 3 April is a school holiday.
