On behalf of the team at Sri Ara, I would like to welcome everyone back to school! We are very happy to see the joyful familiar faces of our students and also a number of new faces in the school. We have some new teachers and students, we wish them a warm welcome!
ECAs & forms
ECAs have begun this week. We are pleased to inform everyone that an additional ECA, football, is being offered by Mr. Victor Eigims, tentatively on Tuesdays. For those who would like to participate please fill in the necessary forms which will be available from the office.
Chinese New Year Holidays
Chinese New Year is just around the corner, Monday and Tuesday, 23 & 24 January. As is the usual practice, the school will be closed for a week from Monday to Friday, 23 to 27 January. We will see you back in school on Monday, 30 January. Happy Holidays and a very Happy & Prosperous New Year to parents, teachers and students who will be celebrating Chinese New Year!
Chinese New Year Celebration
This year the Chinese New Year celebration organized by the SRC will fall on Friday, 17 February. The objective of the event is to share the joy of celebrating Chinese New Year as part of our Malaysian culture. This will be followed by a pot luck lunch. Students and teachers are encouraged to come in traditional Chinese costume.
Please be reminded that first term fees were due in the middle of December. There are still a number of students who have yet to settle their school fees. I hope that these will be settled as soon as possible.
We would like to remind parents that we will be restricting access to everyone to the school premises, from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm, Mondays to Thursdays; and 8.30 am to 2.50 pm on Fridays. We thank those parents who are observing this ruling but notice that a few parents are finding difficulty with it. This will be enforced after the Chinese New Year break. Your cooperation is much appreciated.
Thank you for your continued support of the school.
