Whilst everyone was on a holiday, the Administrative Office and Maintenance Staff have been busy preparing for beginning of our academic year. However, no matter how long we have it always seems that the time is upon us and there are still things that are not as we would like it to be. DEEPAVALI HOLIDAYS & REPLACEMENT HOLIDAY
We would like to wish all Hindu parents and students, ‘Happy Diwali’ and have a wonderful celebration. Have an enjoyable week with family and friends! As per our calendar, the school will be closed for Deepavali from Wednesday, 22nd to Friday, 24th October and we would also like to remind everyone that Monday, 20th October is a replacement holiday.
PRIMARY SCHOOL CAMP

Hari Raya Holidays and Second Term Break
The school will have a 6 days break for the Hari Raya holidays from Friday 25 July to Friday, 1 August. The school will reopen on Monday, 4 August. For the Muslims who will be celebrating, we at Sri Ara wish you a Happy Hari Raya or Eid.
The school will also close for the second term break on 13 to 21 September.
During the Hari Raya holidays, Sri Ara is organizing a 5 days holiday programme from Monday, 28 July to Friday, 1 August for children from ages 6 to 14 years old. Yet another year has just flown by and it seems at lightning speed! We can hardly stop to take a breather and before we know it is time for the Annual Dinner Concert once again and for me to sum up the year.
The year, 2011 has had its fair share of ups and downs. The “ups” were endorsement of the Sri Ara International School by the MOE and good results from last year’s 2010 Form Five students, Shamine Iznina and Year 11 students, Pretasheeny who scored a distinction in Accounting whilst Shamine had distinctions in Mathematics, Bahasa Melayu and English.
