Dear Parents/ Students,
First Term Break
The first term holidays are already here. School will close from Saturday, 23 March 2013 and will resume on Monday, 1 April 2013. Homework has been given to the students and it is hoped that the work will be conscientiously completed during this time.
Students who are sitting for Science in this examination will have their first paper on Tuesday, 23 April 2013.

As we approach the end of the School year, we would like to bring to your attention the following:
The School Concert is on Friday, 9th November. Tickets are now on sale through the office, so please call to arrange your table, if you haven’t already done so. As always, students are practising very hard every day, and we would love to see every parent supporting them by being there.
I should also like to point out that as this is an official school function, student attendance is not optional. All pupils are expected to attend, and I would ask parents to make this clear to their children.
The school will close next week for Deepavali on Monday, 12th & 13th November and for Awal Muharram on Thursday, 15th November. School will be open on 14th and 16th November.

STUDENTS of Sri Ara Private School had so much fun at last year’s fund-raising food and fun-fair that they were keen to hold a similar event this year. They were thrilled that the funds raised were channelled to the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief fund through the Malaysian Red Crescent Society to its counterpart in Japan.
The rewarding experience encouraged the students to hold another fundraiser this year but they were undecided as to which charity to support.
“I gave them a challenge to help us decide which charity the …
The coupons for the upcoming fund raising event on Saturday, 14 April are now ready, and we are distributing them to students, teachers and staff. Each person will be given 10 booklets, valued at RM100.00. More are available upon request from the administrative office. This is for safe and easy collection of funds.
We hope all parents will help their children in their effort to raise funds for the school – help them to sell the coupons, or volunteer to put one of our posters on your condo notice-board to advertise the event.
All the pupils and staff are working very hard to make this event successful, but we need your assistance. Please help the students, your children, in any way you can.
The day will be a replacement day for the school so attendance is compulsory. Students will have to be …
