DEEPAVALI HOLIDAYS & REPLACEMENT HOLIDAY

As per our calendar, the school will be closed for Deepavali from Wednesday, 22nd to Friday, 24th October and we would also like to remind everyone that Monday, 20th October is a replacement holiday.
PRIMARY SCHOOL CAMP

Please be informed that ECAs for the year will end this week before the Year-End Examinations begin in October. Please arrange with transport providers to pick up your children home as soon as school ends. This time should be spent for revision at home.

NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATIONS AND HARI RAYA GET TOGETHER
We will be having a National Day celebration cum Hari Raya get-together on Friday, 29 August. Performances will begin at 11am.
Students are encouraged to wear their national costumes and bring pot luck for the Hari Raya get together.
As National Day, 31 August falls on a Sunday, the next day, Monday 1 September will be a school holiday.

Hari Raya Holidays and Second Term Break
The school will have a 6 days break for the Hari Raya holidays from Friday 25 July to Friday, 1 August. The school will reopen on Monday, 4 August. For the Muslims who will be celebrating, we at Sri Ara wish you a Happy Hari Raya or Eid.
The school will also close for the second term break on 13 to 21 September.
During the Hari Raya holidays, Sri Ara is organizing a 5 days holiday programme from Monday, 28 July to Friday, 1 August for children from ages 6 to 14 years old. Welcome back, everyone! We hope all are well rested and ready for hard work and fun. The second half of the year is very important especially for those who will be taking the major examinations – IGCSE, SPM and UPSR. So students, do work hard especially on your weak subjects.
Recently, the newspapers have reported disturbing news on the kidnapping of children. This is a major concern for schools and parents as well. We have already stepped up on security as of last term with teachers on duty daily and office staff on the alert. Besides this, the Maintenance staff have also been posted at various points, equipped with walkie-talkies during certain critical periods of the day.
