We have been informed by the police (PDRM) that on Wednesday, 11 March, many roads will be closed for the ‘Chingay’ procession. To avoid congestion caused by these closures, school will dismiss early at 1pm on Wednesday, 11 March. Kindly ensure your relevant transport provider is informed.
Term Break 14 – 24 March 2015
We would like to remind parents that school will close from Saturday, 14 March onwards for the school break and will resume on Wednesday, 25 March. Homework has been given to the students and it is hoped that students will use this time wisely to look into their studies.

Just a gentle reminder that the mid-year holidays will start tomorrow, Wednesday 28 May and school will reopen on Monday, 23 June. I am sure the teachers have given students a fair amount of homework, so work on it diligently.
School Holiday Programme
The school holiday programme will begin next Monday, 2 June and end on Thursday, 12 June. Do sign up for the programme as your children will be kept occupied during the holidays in a fun and educational way. The registration forms are available at the office. Payment should be made at the office by Friday, 30 May.

First Term Break
The first term holidays are already here. School will close from Saturday, 23 March 2013 and will resume on Monday, 1 April 2013. Homework has been given to the students and it is hoped that the work will be conscientiously completed during this time.
Students who are sitting for Science in this examination will have their first paper on Tuesday, 23 April 2013.
Parents Teachers’ Meet
For parents who would like to discuss about their children’s progress in school or on any related issues, you can call the office for an appointment during the holiday. STUDENTS of Sri Ara Private School had so much fun at last year’s fund-raising food and fun-fair that they were keen to hold a similar event this year. They were thrilled that the funds raised were channelled to the Japanese earthquake and tsunami relief fund through the Malaysian Red Crescent Society to its counterpart in Japan.
The rewarding experience encouraged the students to hold another fundraiser this year but they were undecided as to which charity to support.

FIRST TERM BREAK
The first term break will begin next week 12 March. We hope that students will use this time wisely to look into their studies.
FUND RAISER / YOUNG ENTERPRENUER’S DAY
There will be a fund raiser next term on Saturday, 14th April here at the school grounds. The idea was mooted last year by the teachers and is aimed at encouraging our students to take part in raising funds as an ongoing project. Part of the funds will go to a charitable fund that the SRC normally will contribute to at the end of the year.
Some of the parents have offered to chip in and help, we are happy to say through the Sri Ara Schools Parent Group.
