As scheduled, the mid-year examination will begin on Monday, 5 May for the upper secondary section, Monday, 12 May for the lower secondary and primary international section and Friday, 9 for the primary Malaysian section. The examination timetables have been distributed to the students. There will be no extra curricular activities (ECAs) during the exam weeks (5-23 May), so please arrange transport for your children to be picked up right after school at 3.15pm. This is to allow the students to do their revision at home.
The examination will break for Vesak Day on Tuesday, 13 May and Teachers’ Day on Friday, 16 May. The examination will continue as scheduled after each holiday.

Assessment Tests for the Malaysian Private Schools
The primary and secondary Malaysian private schools are having assessment tests from 10 to 20 March.
During these times, we would appreciate that silence is observed. However, please take note that ECAs and swimming lessons will be carried out as usual.
A fire drill will be carried out on Friday morning, 21 March at 8.30am. A fire drill is a very important practice and a test of our fire evacuation and response procedures. Teachers will go through the fire drill procedure with the students and familiarize them with the procedure. Even though they are drills, they are very important because through practice our students will learn what to do and how to behave in an emergency.

We have started 2014 with a big bang as the Chinese New Year celebrations kick in early this year. Thank you to everyone for making it a joyous occasion with great performances and a fabulous pot-luck spread to start off the year of the Horse. Despite all the practice for the celebrations, lessons have been carrying on from the first week of the school term.

The school will be organizing a school holiday programme during the August break from Monday, 5 to 16 August. You can drop your children with us as early as 9 am and pick them up at 3 pm and your children will be kept busy with a variety of activities including indoor and outdoor activities, music, cooking classes and storytelling. We place a huge emphasis on learning, fun, adventure and ensuring the children in our care are never bored!
The holiday programme attached, is open to Sri Ara students from ages 6 to 14 years old. To enrol, use the form attached. Additional enrolment forms can be obrtained from the administration office. UNSW Mathematics Assessment

Hari Raya Holidays and Second Term Break to 16 August
