Dear Parents & Students,
We are happy to see everyone back in school and we hope everyone is well rested and ready to face the challenges ahead. There are a few activities coming up soon, such as the Parent-Teachers’ Day, SRC Trip, Telematch Day etc.
ECAs will start from next week onwards and end on July, to accommodate the fasting month of Ramadan, exam preparations and so on.
This will be held on Saturday, 9 July from 9 am to 12 noon. It is a good opportunity for you to discuss your children’s studies with the respective teachers, so please do come.
Refreshments will be served at Block No. 23 in the Art Room, all are welcome!
The dates for the SRC trip are tentatively fixed from 28 to 30 July. The destination has yet to be finalised by the Student Council.
Following the event for the victims of the Japanese Earthquake & Tsunami last weekend, we’re delighted to announce on behalf of the Student Representative Council that we managed to raise more than RM7000 on the day.
We also collected several hundred items of warm clothing that we are trying to send directly to the disaster victims.
The harrowing images that are still coming out of Japan make it obvious that clothing for people who lost everything is still a priority, so collecting and sorting the clothes represents another superb effort by everyone concerned.
All in all, a brilliant result from an event arranged at such short notice.
Well done to all students, teachers and parents who played such a massive and vital role in making the day so successful.
We should also say a huge ‘Thank you’ to all of our generous sponsors …
The Student Representative Council (SRC) came up with these ideas raising money for The Japanese earthquake and Tsunami victims. Any help or assistance that anyone can provide will be great fully accepted. Please contact the Administration Office at 07.2222089 or 07.2230089.
